A twisted school of strategy and despair

The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is a premium role-playing game and a collaboration between Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi, two masterminds behind compelling narrative games. The game’s story is filled with mystery, sacrifice, and suspense. Players will be immediately drawn into its high-stakes, 100-day survival challenge.

The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- follows Takumi Sumino, a teen whose routine is shattered when monstrous invaders attack. Takumi is transported to a strange academy with 14 other students. Their mission: defend the school from grotesque creatures for 100 days while unraveling the chilling truth behind their new reality.

Despair, strategy, and choices

Much like the creators’ previous works, The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- thrives on emotional intensity and moral complexity. Takumi’s choices matter deeply—each decision may strengthen bonds or spiral the group into tragedy. With multiple endings steeped in extreme despair, players are pushed to consider the consequences of every action. It's not just about survival; it's about who gets left behind in the fight.

In this role-playing game, combat plays a crucial role in this hybrid narrative-strategy experience. When the school is attacked, players dive into SRPG-style battles that demand smart use of each student’s Specialist Skills. Fans of strategy and narrative games will appreciate the depth these skirmishes bring, requiring thoughtful team formations and resource management to ensure the school remains safe at all costs.

Outside of battle, the game offers moments of connection and exploration. Players can roam the school grounds and surrounding ruins, gather crafting materials, and spend time with teammates. These interactions both expand the story and also impact battle performance, encouraging players to invest emotionally in their classmates' fates. However, the introduction, like in many visual novels, may take a while to build momentum.

A haunting adventure

The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is a gripping fusion of emotional storytelling and strategic gameplay. With a countdown clock ticking toward an uncertain fate, it challenges players to think, feel, and fight for every day of survival at the academy and ensure it remains a safe place. It’s a must-play for fans of dark narratives and morally charged decision-making.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
